Children will learn about local artists and discuss the idea of creating a unique piece of art. Participants will experiment and create with a variety of materials.
These classes are designed for children in Grades 1 - 4 and will be held in the Children’s History Center at the Carnegie Center. Classes are $5 each, or all 3 classes for $10, when registered and paid in advance.
Additional Classes:
March 21: Young Authors…Children will learn about the lives of Lorain-native authors, listen to their works and author and illustrate their own book as a group. Participants will each write and illustrate a page in progression.
May 16: Imagination and Innovation…Children will learn of the work of local inventors and entrepreneurs. Participants will come up with a design plan to fix a problem and ways to sell their idea and product.
