FireFish Festival 2020: a FREE multicultural arts and fire festival that sets downtown Lorain ablaze with unique art experiences in unexpected places.
Historic storefronts, abandoned alleys, and even fire escapes become the setting for fine art, fire art, and funky art — mixed up with theatre, jazz, hip hop, and ballet. Downtown Lorain becomes an exciting urban city stage, with a surprise around every corner.
The Festival culminates with the FireFish Finale “Burning of the Fish,” led by artists and includes community-created art boats, bikes, and floats in a parade that also celebrates the Black River and its resources. ?
