It's My Party! by Ann Timmons offers a fresh take on the storied conflict between establishment and radical suffragists. This play focuses on the daring stunts, shaky alliances, and bitter rivalries that propelled the nation's march toward the 19th Amendment, delving deeply into an important but rarely probed aspect of the suffrage crusade. Performers are talented people from Lorain County!
Following the reading, there will be a facilitated discussion on the way forward for women as we continue the efforts toward “letting our voices be heard”.
