Join us as we celebrate Black History Month by learning about Garrett Morgan, the son of former slaves, who moved north from the segregated south and went on to become a self-made businessman in Cleveland. Hear the story of how his inventions including the traffic light revolutionized public safety in the automobile age. The program is presented by the Western Reserve Historical Society. Light refreshments will be served.
