    Visit Lorain County works to establish Lorain County as a premier Lake Erie and outdoor destination, as well as offering Underground Railroad history, wineries, world class arts & museums, plus shopping and dining among various markets of travelers. Through excellence in marketing, providing authentic experiences, credibility and transparency, VLC leads the Lorain County travel industry into the future with cutting edge marketing innovation. VLC is funded through a 3% lodging tax that visitors pay when patronizing LC lodging including hotels, b&bs, inns, private rentals, and more. VLC is also a membership organization which provides members with added marketing and exposure opportunities directly to the travel and tourism market. VLC serves all components of the visitor industry including lodging, restaurants, meeting facilities, attractions, tour operators, and the commercial and retail resources that are important to the visitor. The Visitors Bureau is a community’s single most powerful marketing organization.
